Can I live in my holiday home permanently?
No, Forest View is a holiday park, not a residential site. Holiday homes must not be used as primary residences. You can enjoy extended stays throughout our 12-month season, but you must maintain another address as your main residence.
What is the season at Forest View?
Forest View operates a 12-month season, meaning you can visit and use your holiday home throughout the entire year. This is more generous than many parks which close for winter months.
Do I own the land my holiday home sits on?
No, you own the holiday home itself but rent the plot (pitch) it sits on through an annual site fee. This is standard across UK holiday parks. The site fee covers your land rental and many services.
Can I sell my holiday home if I need to?
Yes, you can sell your holiday home at any time. Many owners sell privately, while we also offer a resale service to help market your home to prospective buyers. The park retains first refusal on sales and charges a commission if we facilitate the sale.
What are typical annual running costs?

Can I rent out my holiday home?

Are pets allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at Forest View. We have dedicated dog walking areas and routes. We do have reasonable rules about dogs (kept on leads in certain areas, not left alone for extended periods, waste disposal).
Can my family and friends visit?
Absolutely! Your guests are welcome to visit and stay with you. We just ask that you remain responsible for their conduct and ensure they follow park rules. Visitor parking is available near the entrance.
